BIM Engineer (Senior)

My client is a leading Building Contractor who work on a variety of projects ranging from healthcare to residential and data centres.
They are seeking a Senior BIM Engineer to join their award-winning team on key projects in Dublin.  The successful candidate will play a key role within the Digital Project Delivery (DPD) team and support project teams with developing, managing and delivering multi-disciplinary BIM standards & digital strategy.
Duties:

• Provide technical expertise and leadership to implement, develop and manage a successful BIM process from Precontract all the way through the project delivery and handover.
• Support the pre pre-construction team with the review of received tender documents (including Works Information, EIR,to identify Clients BIM and Digital requirements.
• Provide technical review of 3D BIM models received at tender stage for federation, engineering checks,detection, logistics and cost management.
• Support the production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT and ensure internal project team andparties are fully aware of their responsibilities.
• Work with planning team to develop, coordinate and deliver 4D BIM model.
• Developing and coordinate visualizations and interactive 3D Models.
• Lead the DPD kick off meeting (jointly with the Information Manager) with the projectteam to review and finalise the DPD strategy.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in construction, computing or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with Navisworks, Lumion and other rendering software packages.
