Business Development Manager – Limerick

Euro Executive Recruitment has been retained to recruit a Business Development Manager for our client who are a rapidly expanding organisation in the renewables/ offshore industry. The role will be based out of our clients Limerick operations and is a permanent position with them. The successful candidate will report directly to the Leadership Team.
The Role:
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
- Achieve annual sales targets
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account queries
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our targets according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Collaborate effectively with Business Development team, and our clients wider team, to identify and explore new business opportunities
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in the renewables and / or offshore industries preferred
- Strong track record of success and over-achievement versus targets
- Strong understanding of commercial and contractual management
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and prospects
- A hungry self-starter who has a can do attitude
- Experience of managing senior client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to set own high standards of performance and delivering desired results
- Proven ability to demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation
- Relevant third level qualification
