Euro Executive Recruitment has been retained by one of the biggest construction Joint Ventures in Europe, constituted by international civil works companiesto recruit a Cost Controller for one of the biggest infrastructure projects in the world. This role presents the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to join one of the most highly regarded building contractors.
The role of the Cost Controller is to control and monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing, deliveries and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors of all costs related to appointed Cost Centre. The position is ideally based on Fehmarn, and you will report to the Cost Control Manager(remote work possible in limited scale).

The Role:

  • Collaborate with Section/Block Manager to update the progress and explain the discrepancies.
  • Propose necessary action plan against possible cost deviations.
  • Follow the various processes set forth and agreed in the Cost Control GMP cap.
  • Responsible to prepare a budget and its associated revisions later together with the Planning Engineer, Purchase Officer and Section/Block Manager responsible of that specific group of Cost Centres
  • Handle budget calculation and cost control into the integrated software RibiTwo.
  • Ensure that the Monthly Cost Control Report is issue on a timely manner with all deviations explained in an agreed manner with the Cost Control Manager.
  • Provide cost controlling support to the allocated Section Manager which includes variations reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc.

Requirements:

  • Preferably +5 years relevant and similar capacity in project estimating and cost controlling, preferably in Construction industry.
  • Degree in Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control related training.
  • Technically strong in project cost planning and reporting and Excel expert.
  • Knowledge in the use of RIB iTWO software is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous.
  • Flexible in relation to different workplaces (Femern, Rodby, Copenhagen).
  • Speaking German is mandatory.

Position based fulltime on Femern, but could as well be Femern 3 days a week; home office 2 days a week and Copenhagen 2-3 days per month.
