AA Euro Group is recruiting an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Manager for an exciting pharmaceutical project in Cork. This role is a key part of the project delivery team, responsible for overseeing the electrical and instrumentation aspects of the project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in managing E&I systems on construction projects in regulated environments.
Both permanent and contract employment options are available to suit professional preferences.
The Role:
- Oversee Electrical & Instrumentation installation activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate E&I works with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution within timelines and budgets.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation to meet project standards.
- Implement quality control and inspection plans for E&I systems, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical standards.
- Act as the point of contact for E&I-related issues, addressing technical challenges in collaboration with the client and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all electrical and instrumentation systems meet regulatory and safety requirements, and that necessary risk assessments are conducted.
- All other duties associated with the role.
Requirements:
- Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation roles, with proven experience in managing or supervising E&I systems on construction projects.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, industrial, or data centre environments would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including control systems and power distribution.
- Good understanding of regulatory compliance and safety practices in the construction industry.
