We are currently seeking a skilled and experiencedTimber General Operativeour client a leading specialist in Timber manufacturing, based in Co,Cork.
Our client is a leading specialist in timber frame housing, delivering innovative and sustainable construction solutions across Cork and beyond.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for supporting the production, processing, and handling of timber materials within a busy manufacturing or distribution environment.
The role requires a solid understanding of timber products, equipment, and safety protocols to ensure smooth operations and high-quality standards are maintained.
Key Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience working in a timber-related industry, preferably in a similar operative or production role.
Understanding of timber types, properties, and industry standards.
Proficient in operating timber processing machinery (e.g., saws, planers).
Ability to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail for quality control.
Good problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
