Junior Estimator

My client is a progressive Building Contractor who are currently working on numerous Projects across Dublin including nursing homes, schools and office developments.
Due to the increase in workload, they have a vacancy for a Junior Estimator to join their team and work from their head office in North County Dublin
Duties:

• Preparing and collating tenders by a given deadline based on the scope of work, plans, specification, BOQs, schedules and inspections
• Generating Subcontractor and Supplier packages
• Sending out and following up tender enquiries
• Receiving, checking, and filing tender quotations
• Creating, updating, and maintaining tender register, supply chain lists and rate/price library

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying
• 1-2 years of main contractors experience within the Irish Construction Industry
• Good understanding of the Irish Construction Industry
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Excel & Word
