Euro Executive Recruitment have been retained by a market leading multinational to recruit a Marketing Strategist on a contract basis to be based in their Cork SSC. This is a key hire for the organisation who are currently undertaking a global transformation. “This role will form part of a pilot program within the Global Creative team, with the goal of expanding Global Creative‘s ability to provide our clients with the highest level of creativity and innovation in supporting their marketing goals. Our aim is to further support our clients in creating new sales pipelines and accelerating the growth of those that exist.”

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of GTM strategy, working closely with the Chief Global Creative Director, Senior Marketing Leadership (Heads of Product and Regional Marketing teams). Engage with leaders effectively to gain support for and commitment to strategies.

  • Develop excellent working relationships with key internal stakeholders, with the goal of creating strategic go-to-market plans and iterative tactics to enable competitive advantage. Includes target audience and channel definition, content recommendations, buyer journey maps, timelines, launch scenarios, risk analyses, metric reporting processes etc.

  • Required outcome is to enable data-led strategic decision-making across client campaigns.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and consensus-building skills in a dynamic environment. Assert strategic ideas and persuade stakeholders, using creative approaches to motivate and mobilize others to reach strategic goals.

  • Undertake constant internal and competitor analysis and disseminate outcomes to stakeholders, demonstrating data-driven understanding of internal company dynamics and market intelligence.

  • Influence the development of clients‘ integrated solution campaigns, which leverage Global Creative offerings and are mutually beneficial for the client and Global Creative.

  • Through strategic input, contribute to the maintenance of long-term client partnerships that result in a mutually beneficial, growth-oriented business and working relationship.

  • Delivery of regular ROI metric reports: tracking and measuring, quantifying and reporting on GTM strategy plans.

  • Demonstrate empathy with the Client‘s needs and goals.

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in the design, activation and iteration of effective GTM Strategies, ideally for large global organisations

  • 10+ years of experience in leading Strategic Marketing Campaigns (ideally client-side)­, proven history of delivering on measurably effective marketing programs

  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated, transformational marketing programs within complex business environments, working with a variety of management levels, cultures, cross-functional teams and personalities.

  • Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving skills.

  • Sharp understanding of global business fundamentals, sales models, ethics, competitive analysis and cross-cultural/geographical sensitivities

  • Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with senior-level stakeholders

  • Influencing and negotiating acumen. The successful candidate will be skilled at effectively orchestrating company & market participation, alongside leadership buy-in for each strategic GTM effort

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills – ability to understand and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing to clients, associates and management. Ability to work under pressure and deliver targets, responding quickly and effectively to market and clients` needs, issues, changing requirements and schedules.

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.

  • Creative, innovative and agile approach, with the ability to think outside the box and embrace unexpected changes with a positive, “can do” mindset

  • Must be comfortable innovating and leading in a transitional environment within a leading global company.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of an agency setting.

  • Fluency with MS Office Suite.
