Euro Executive Recruitment have been retained by a market leading sports clothing and apparel provider to recruit a National Account Manager with a base in their Cork headquarters. The National Account Manager will report to the Company Director and manage all elements of wholesale accounts within Ireland. Build on pre-existing client relationships and generate new business within the wholesale market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Annual, seasonal, and monthly budget and profit targets are achieved
- Short and long term sales strategy for Irish territory is linked to the overall business strategy for the brands and RGOI
- Impactful range presentations are delivered at seasonal launches and sell-in appointments
- Seasonal forecasting is completed to ensure budgets are achieved and the business knows your regions product needs
- Order book is managed to ensure that forward order targets are achieved and order conversion is managed effectively and efficiently
- Sell-through data is monitored to ensure that all commercial opportunities are capitalised on and that key elements are shared across the business in a formal manner
- Regular contact is maintained with key accounts and regular business reviews are carried out each season
- The wholesale sales support function liaises proactively with opposite numbers for the customers, overseen by the account manager
- The marketing plans for each customer is managed effectively budgets are adhered to and best value is gained from each investment, with support from the relevant marketing team
- Each brand looks its best at all times through supply and implementation of seasonal assets including imagery, in-store unitary and POS materials are up to date
- All opportunities are capitalised on by carrying out regular business reviews and orderbook consolidations
- Accounts are managed effectively by effective communication with sales support contact(s) and other supporting internal departments
- Seasonal training is carried out with customer store and head office staff so that new and existing product innovations are understood
- Feedback on customers and marketplace in which you operate is prepared and communicated using appropriate formal or informal channels to relevant person(s) or team(s) internally
- Targets are achieved and old stock lines are cleared by selling current season and clearance available stock
- Other tasks and duties that are reasonably requested by your manager are undertaken
- Monthly reports, contact reports and other forms of administration are completed on time
- Weekly journey plans are maintained and submitted on time and demonstrate best and most efficient use of travel and time
- Accurate credit card and expenses are returned on time
- All HR systems reflect up to date organisational structure and most efficient processes are in use
- High quality data & reports are produced when required
- Immediate advice and solutions are provided for system queries by HR team being expert users
Experience & Skills:
- Proven track record in apparel (inc sports / leisure / outdoor) wholesale sales
- Driven and passionate and self-motivated
- Entrepreneurial
- Ability to build great working relationships with colleagues from across the business and with existing and prospective customers
- Demonstrates good commercial awareness and judgement
- Has a can-do, will-do attitude
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Driving licence required for national travel
- Regular overnight stays to maximise travel efficiency
