AA Euro Group has been retained by a leading construction firm based in Cork to find an experienced Project Manager for Cork projects. This company specialises in delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join their dynamic team to lead a high-profile residential project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of residential construction projects, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Planning & Coordination: Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resources. Coordinate activities across design, engineering, and construction teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, manage expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Problem Solving: Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues promptly, and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and clients, preparing progress reports, financial summaries, and project reviews.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on residential projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts (e.g., RIAI, FIDIC), and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is advantageous.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Irish building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and present to stakeholders.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Driving License: Full, valid driving license required.
