Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Engineer to ensure all construction activities on a major construction project in Copenhagen adhere to specified quality standards, regulations, and project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance systems, construction materials, and industry compliance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the projects Quality Control (QC) plan.
- Inspect materials, workmanship, and on-site practices to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections and quality audits, documenting results and recommending corrective actions where needed.
- Coordinate with construction teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are communicated and met.
- Review and verify documentation, including test results, certifications, and material approvals.
- Track and report non-conformances, and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Support commissioning and handover processes by ensuring all quality documentation is complete and accurate.
- Ensure compliance with Danish building regulations and international quality standards applicable to hospital infrastructure.
Candidate Requirements
**Essential:**
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in quality control or assurance roles within the construction sector.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Eligible to work in Denmark or the EU.
**Desirable:**
- Previous experience on hospital or healthcare facility construction projects.
- Knowledge of Danish construction quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., CQE, ISO auditor).
