Road Planer Operator

AA Euro Group are looking to recruit an experienced Road Planer Operator for our client based in Dublin on a full time permanent basis.

You will be responsible for operating various Road Planers to efficiently and safely mill road surfaces.
This role involves working with machines ranging from W35, W60, 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m, to 2m widths, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Road Planers of varying sizes (W35, W60, 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m, and 2m) to mill asphalt and concrete surfaces.
Adjust machine settings to accommodate different milling depths and widths as per project requirements.
Perform daily maintenance checks, including inspecting cutting tools and ensuring optimal machine performance.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and participate in training programs to operate machinery safely and effectively.
Attend machine operator training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
Work closely with site supervisors and team members to coordinate milling operations.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience operating Road Planers, specifically models W35, W60, 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m, and 2m.
Hold a valid Class C driving license with an updated Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Strong understanding of machine operations and road construction practices.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Salary
€60,000 per annum
Full time permanent
