Senior Planner- Cork – Main Contractor

AA Euro Group is seeking an experienced Senior Planner for a leading contractor`s Cork-based operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence high-profile construction projects by ensuring they meet safety, budget, and timeline goals.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee time plans to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget constraints.
• Create, maintain, and manage construction schedules and plans.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient project delivery.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to facilitate each phase of construction.
• Provide regular updates to the client team to keep stakeholders informed of progress.
• Prepare and present project insights for internal meetings.
• Develop tender plans to support project bids.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: A third-level qualification in Engineering is essential.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant field experience, including at least 4 years in a senior role.
• Skills:
• oStrong communication skills for report writing and presentations.
• oProficient in planning software, including MS Project and Primavera P6.
• oExcellent time management, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• oBudgeting and financial management experience.
• oDetail-oriented with strong leadership skills and an ability to work well under pressure.
• oBackground in pharmaceutical or electronics sectors is advantageous but not required.
• oTeam-oriented with the capacity to work independently as needed.
