Site Manager

AA Euro Group are seeking a Site Manager to oversee the fit-out of a large retail space in Stratford, East London. This is a 6-month contract with a specialist fit-out contractor delivering high-end retail environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for site operations, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the
highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Maintain high-quality standards in line with project specifications and client expectations.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and implement best practices on-site.
• Monitor project progress, addressing issues, and reporting to the Project Manager.
• Oversee materials management and logistics to maintain project timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Manage site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in fit-out projects, ideally in retail or commercial spaces.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and finishes.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure smooth site operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.

Desirable:

• Experience working on large-scale retail fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience in fast-track fit-out environments.
