Ireland’s unemployment rate has fallen to a pandemic low of 7.9% as the latest statistics published by the CSO have highlighted a strong recovery in the labour market since restrictions were lifted in May.

Consumer confidence has slipped for October following the budget announcement and doubts over the pandemic, while other key industries continue to witness positive growth trends.

Growth in Irish construction activity has rapidly risen once again in October as growth in new orders and commercial activity increased following built-up demand caused by pandemic-related restrictions.

Following our recent fire incident, Euro Executive Recruitment is back operating at full capacity and have moved into our new temporary office location in Cube Building, Monahan Road, Cork City.

With the recent tightening of restrictions, people have been urged to work from home for the foreseeable future. We asked our LinkedIn followers what their current working situation was and delved into the current debate of remote work versus remaining in the office.
