AA Monthly Recruitment Round Up for July 2020. What’s Coming Up?
We are happy to say that recruitment activity levels in July have been back to a normal state as economic activity is leveling out. After a lengthy negotiation, EU leaders have come to an agreement on a €1.8 trillion COVID-19 recovery package to help repair the economic and social damage brought by the pandemic, kick-start European recovery, and protect and create jobs.
Ireland has adopted a ‘working from home’ mentality which has seen a significant surge in data centre activity. Remote working has profoundly impacted the economy with exceedingly large online activity being recorded. This is a turning point for the data centre industry, and considerable growth is expected over the coming years.
With over 450 data centre construction and expansion projects worldwide and $170 billion spent in the industry in 2019, it’s clear that 2020 will see much further growth, ensuring growth in construction and technology sectors.
