Electrical Project Manager

AA Euro Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a major hyperscale data centre fit-out project located just outside Copenhagen. This is a permanent opportunity with a strong pipeline of mission-critical projects across Europe.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex electrical packages within a fast-paced data centre environment, managing projects from installation through commissioning and handover.

The Role
Reporting to senior project leadership, the Electrical Project Manager will take ownership of the electrical delivery across a large-scale data centre fit-out. The role will involve managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities, driving programme delivery, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and commercial performance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a site-based position suited to candidates with strong experience delivering mission-critical or large-scale industrial/mechanical & electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full electrical project lifecycle from installation through to commissioning and final handover.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, site supervisors, engineers, and electrical teams on site.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Drive project schedules and monitor progress against key milestones.
• Chair and attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, technical submissions, design coordination, and procurement activities.
• Work closely with commissioning teams to ensure successful energisation and system integration.
• Monitor labour requirements, productivity levels, and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with all project-specific health & safety procedures and European standards.
• Support commercial teams with valuations, variations, forecasting, and cost control.
• Produce regular progress reports for senior management and client teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale construction or engineering projects.
• Previous data centre experience is highly desirable.
• Strong background in electrical installations, commissioning, and fit-out delivery.
• Experience working on mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, or high-tech projects advantageous.
• Ability to manage large subcontractor packages and fast-track programmes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and reporting capability.
• Relevant electrical or engineering qualification.
• EU project experience preferred.
• Fluent English required.
