We have been retained by a leading Mechanical Contractor client, to recruit a Project Director, to be based on a large-scale pharmaceutical project in Denmark.
Job Description:
The Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex piping project. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in project management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different countries. This role will be based full time onsite in one of the Company`s projects located in Denmark.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for all aspects of mechanical Capital Project Delivery for specific Capital Projects.
- Select & manage project teams, assigning clear roles & responsibilities.
- Involved in talent acquisition were required.
- Project Sponsor for clients: Attending monthly Trade Partner sponsor meetings with client, Company Director-level point of contact for client
- Oversight of, and provide support to, Company Project Managers across all areas of project delivery:
Initiation and Planning, Safety, Quality, Scheduling, Commercial, Cost Management (monitoring & control), Sub-contractor Management, Engineering, Construction, Turnover, Closeout.
- Liaise with Commercial Director on all Project Commercial Milestones & Cost Management.
- Chair monthly Capital Project Review meetings for early identification of key risks & challenges.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with Company processes and procedures.
- Annual PM performance reviews and contribute to reviews for other key project personnel.
- Participation & input with other company Directors on company strategy and assessment of Capital Project Delivery Capacity.
- Tender proposals & clarification meetings
Skills and Requirements:
- Mechanical contracting background with minimum 10 years relevant experience, 5 years of which should be at a similar level.
- Experience working in the Construction Sector on pharmaceutical projects.
- Strong background in project management
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- EU citizenship
