Senior Quantity Surveyor

AA Euro Group are looking to speak with Senior Quantity Surveyor`s with prior experience working on rail/infrastructure packages. Our client is looking for someone coming from a Civil/Rail background with 8+ years` experience (Ideally with a Main Contractor). It is a full time permanent position, based in Birmingham.
Responsibilities:

• Reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager for relevant commercial aspects of a section of a project
• In depth knowledge and experience of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes
• Effective client relationship management to encourage smooth commercial progression of the contract(s)
• Demonstrates and maintains a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and works closely with the delivery team to develop techniques and solutions to meet business and customer needs
• Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns and make recommendations to appoint and places subcontracts accurately and on time

Experience:

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
• 8+ years experience
• Main  contractor experience
• Ideally from a civils/infrastructure background
