Site Engineer

AA Euro Group are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a Tier One Irish Contractor on Large residential projects around the Dublin area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join busy, high-volume residential projects and work alongside an experienced site management team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering functions on site, ensuring works are delivered to the required quality, programme, and specification.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accurate setting out, monitoring and coordinating of works on site to deliver the project objectives including the areas of H&S, Technical and Design, Information Management and Quality.
• Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractors
• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics
• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFIs and resolves technical issues
• Record keeping and reporting
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.

Requirements

• Relevant Third level Degree
• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Previous Main Contractor experience
• Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech, Distribution, Warehouse)
• Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment is essential
• Excellent IT skills, knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
